Seattle City Council (which includes Bill Farmer) was assembled to advise the
Council on the potential to place a park levy on the fall 2008 ballot. The
committee is holding three community meetings during the month of May (see
dates below - some have already passed). These meetings will provide residents
with an opportunity to comment on the potential creation of a ballot initiative
to fund parks, open space, boulevards, trails, green infrastructure and
recreation projects. If you can't make a meeting download the public comment
form, complete it and mail it (yes. . . that's $0.42) soon. While there's no
specific deadline on when public comment closes, the report to Council needs to
