Hello, Youth Enthusiasts,<br><br>Two bits of news for you today:<br><br>1. Bear-Ninja-Cowgirl Girls' Tourney<br>2. USA Ultimate Coach Training<br><br><br>1. Bear-Ninja-Cowgirl Girls' Tourney<br><br>This new girls' hat tournament will take place on October 16 at Van Asselt Playfield. It is free and is for girls in grades 8-12. Girls will be coached by players from elite club teams Seattle Riot and Seattle Underground, and college team UW Element. This tournament was made possible by a grant from the Women's Sports Foundation's GoGirlGo! program and kicks off several months of exciting girls' Ultimate and leadership programming. GoGirlGo! is all about getting girls from every background to be active and develop healthy
habits. We encourage girls who are familiar with Ultimate to bring out
their friends to try a new activity. We welcome girls of all skill and

<br><br>2. USA Ultimate Coach Training & Certification<br><br>USA Ultimate is bringing two coach training and certification classes to Seattle this fall and winter. The first is a Level II course on November 20-21, 2010. The Level II Coach Certification is 2 full days of instruction that
focuses on advanced coaching for Ultimate and is ideal for high school,
college, and club captains and coaches that are looking for new tools to
help take their leadership to the next level. The second is a Level I course, including both Ethics and Performance workshops, on January 16, 2011. You can register for both the Ethics and Performance components, or for just one. <br>
