7. Up Dawg<br>8. Fryz Clinic<br><br><br>1. 5K FUND RUN/WALK<br><p>The 5K FunD Run/Walk is taking place on <b style="font-weight:normal">**Saturday, June 11 in Magnuson Park at 10:00 AM</b>.** Money raised supports DiscNW's Youth Development Fund.
The Youth Development Fund supports several DiscNW youth initiatives,
including subsidized (reduced cost or free) youth Ultimate events and
clinics targeted at underserved communities, team scholarships to aid
participation in area tournaments and leagues, introduction of Ultimate
to new youth groups, and individual scholarships to the annual Youth
Club Championships in Minnesota.</p>
<p>Worried about your speed? Please don't be! You'll have the
opportunity to make a monetary donation to shave precious seconds off
your time, for the fastest 5K of your life! And of course, fun, games

<br><br>2. SEATTLE YOUTH ULTIMATE CAMPS<br><br>DiscNW is proud to present the 8th year of Seattle Youth Ultimate Camps,
serving young players from Seattle and beyond. The camp will be
coached by veteran coaches from top Seattle high school and middle
school teams, and experienced college and elite club players from all
over the country. There are sessions for players ages 8-9, 10-11,
12-13, and high school.<br><br>--Session 1: June 27 - July 1 at Magnuson Park 9AM-3PM<br>--Session 2: August 15-19 at Magnuson Park 9AM-3PM

</p><br><br>3. U-22 WOMEN'S DRAFT HAT LEAGUE<br><p>This hat league welcomes all women and girls under the age of 22 and
in grade 8 or above. Girls and women meeting the age requirements on
the first game day (June 13, 2011) are eligible for the season. In a
"hat league," players sign up as individuals and are assigned to teams.
This is a <i>draft</i> hat league, meaning that the team captains and coaches select their teams in a draft.</p>
<p>Each team will have one player-coach and one player-captain. You
will have a chance to apply for these positions when you register for

<br>This hat league welcomes boys in grades 8-12. In a "hat league,"
players sign up as individuals and are assigned to teams. This league is a draft hat league, meaning that the team captains select their teams in a draft. <br><br>Most games will be be 5:00-6:30pm on Wednesday nights at Delridge Playfield,
from June 15 through July 27. The only exception is the week of June

<br><br>5. AUCTION - YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FUND<br><br>We are holding the First Annual Dinner Auction on October 8 and are currently in the process of procuring items for it. 6. RIOT CLINIC<br><br>The Seattle women's team Riot is offering their 16th annual skills
clinic for women and girls of all ages, experience and skill level.
We'll spend a day focusing on skills and strategies appropriate to every
level of ultimate play. Whether you are brand spankin' new or a
seasoned vet, we've got something for you! Price ($35) includes a free
disc and a yummy lunch. So, bring your rain gear (just in case) and

<br><br>7. UP DAWG<br><br>The fourth annual Up Dawg Youth Ultimate Hat Tournament
hosted by Element, UW's Women's Ultimate Frisbee team is coming up! Middle school
students of any skill level are welcome for a day of playing Ultimate,
meeting other youth Ultimate players, hanging out, and eating snacks.
$30 registration fee will cover three games of Ultimate, a FIVE Ultimate
jersey, snacks, an opportunity to meet youth players from other middle
schools, and be coached by Element players.<br><br>The tournament will be on Saturday, June 18<b></b> at the Lower Woodland fields (2 and 7). Check-in will begin at<b></b> 12:45pm with activities ending at 5:15pm<b></b>.
Remember that Up Dawg will be a full day tournament - bring your water,
cleats, sunscreen, and lots of energy for a fun-filled Ultimate

<br><br>8. FRYZ CLINIC<br><br><font size="2"><font size="2">The Fryz Ultimate High School Team
(currently ranked #1 in the nation in both Youth Open and Girls) is
offering their 1st skills Frisbee clinic for Elementary and Middle
school players on June 19th. Price is $10 at Magnuson Park. Sports
Meadow, from 10:00am-3:00pm. An exhibition between Orange and Black will
be the entertainment at lunch break. Please bring dark and light
jerseys. Pastries and gear will be offered for sale at this event. Show
