Did you know that, in 2012, DiscNW provided nearly $38k in youth sponsorship,
including financial aid for DiscNW events, free camps and clinics, disc
donations to the Seattle Public Middle School league, outreach to
Washington State PE teachers, and grants to new teams and girl-serving
ultimate organizations?  DiscNW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we
rely on the kindness of you--our members, volunteers, and benefactors--to
grow the sport and support the participation of underserved youth
populations.

An exciting byproduct of this sponsorship is growth.  I was thrilled to
witness 25% more teams in DiscNW youth leagues this spring, 15.5% more
players at the Seattle Youth Ultimate Camps this summer, and 13% more
middle school teams in the Seattle Schools league this fall.  Between this
growth and a new, exciting initiative to create a more sustainable Seattle
Public High School league, DiscNW expects to spend nearly 53k in youth
sponsorship from our Youth Development Fund by the end of 2013 - almost 40%
more than in 2012.

Please help DiscNW with our goals to grow the sport of ultimate and to make
it accessible to any child or teen who wishes to play.  If you'd like to
