*1. Youth Spring Leagues*
**
Registration for all youth spring leagues is now open at www.discnw.org.
There are co-ed leagues for elementary school, middle school, and high
school teams, and a single-gender league for high school teams.
Registration closes for the single-gender league on February 1, and for
co-ed leagues on February 7. Schedules will be produced by February 17.

Games begin the weekend of March 7 for single-gender, and the weekend of
March 14 for co-ed leagues. Leagues end on the weekend of May 16-17.

For more information, please visit the discnw.org event page for your league
of interest.

*2. Winter MoHo and Mini MoHo*
**
Dates are set and registration is open for winter MoHo (for high school
students) and Mini MoHo (for middle school students). These free
training/pick-up sessions are a great way to meet fellow youth players and
learn from awesome club players Shannon O'Malley (Mini MoHo) and Miranda
Roth (MoHo), both of Seattle Riot.

WAIVERS ARE NOW REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE EVENTS, so please be sure
to visit the event page at www.discnw.org to register! : )

*3. UPA Coaching Certification Course Updates*
**
The Ultimate Players Association (UPA) is providing both a Level I and a
Level II Coaching Certification Course in the Seattle area early this year.

The Level I course will be on February 1, at Charles Wright Academy in
Tacoma. Registration is now open for this course at
http://www.upa.org/coaches/clinics It will be taught by Miranda Roth of
Seattle Riot.

The date for the Level II course has not yet been confirmed, but it will
tentatively occur on February 28-March 1 in Seattle.

For more information on both courses, including certification requirements
for sideline access at UPA Championship events (such as the WA High School
State Championships and HS Western Championships), please visit
http://www.upa.org/coaches.

*4. DiscNW's New Youth Leadership Body*

leadership body, please visit

Northwest Ultimate scene even stronger, to share their ideas as members
of several youth sub-committees. Please visit the following DiscNW Youth
