Hello Ultimate Enthusiasts,

 

For the second year in a row, the finals at the Field Day hat tournament
were decided by a single point.  The winners will be enjoying the Sounders
game in a suite this evening courtesy of event sponsors Pyramid Breweries.

Bear-Ninja-Cowgirl - This Weekend

 

Bear-Ninja-Cowgirl
<http://www.discnw.org/ale/clubevent.html?clubEventId=456>  is a free hat
tournament for girls in grades 8-12.  Girls will be coached by players from
elite club teams Seattle Riot and Seattle Underground, and college team UW
Element. 

 

This tournament was made possible by a grant from the Women's Sports
Foundation's GoGirlGo! program and kicks off several months of exciting
girls' Ultimate and leadership programming. 

 

We welcome girls of all skill and experience levels to this fun tournament!

register, or show up at 9:30am on the day of the event. The first 40 girls
to register receive a t-shirt!

 

 

Turkey Bowl Registration is Open

This one-day hat tournament hosted by DiscNW is a Thanksgiving tradition
that gives Ultimate players the opportunity to run off some of those second
and third helpings of stuffing while giving something to charity. Donations
go to NW Harvest, an organization focused on helping disadvantaged families
with a basic necessity: food.

on the synthetic turf fields!

When: Saturday, November 27th  -  Player sign-in is at 8am at the fields -
you must register online before the event. The first game will start at 9am.
Each team will play 4 games, and we'll be done before sunset.

 

 

Riot Repeat as Northwest Champions

USA Ultimate 2011 HS Westerns Bid Awarded to DiscNW

 

USA Ultimate recently announced the good news:

 

Hosted by the Northwest Ultimate Disc Association (DiscNW
<http://www.discnw.org/> ), the 2011 USA Ultimate High School Western
Championships will take place in Corvallis, Ore., May 14-15. The Crystal
Lake Sports Complex will host the two-day competition, which features the
best high school Ultimate teams west of the Mississippi River.
