We all had the "fall back" time change a few weekends ago.  Have you updated

Chick Flick and Dangle Wrangle Registration Is Open

 

Sign up now for the popular winter tournaments!  Both tournaments will take
place at Magnuson Park on the synthetic fields with ultimate lines!!

ability levels.

This is one highly spirited, highly competitive, men's hat tournament.  

Sunday, December 12 - 9am-3pm

 

Thanks to Seattle Parks and the Seattle Youth Soccer Association for helping
to get the field space for the event.  We will be using the synthetic fields
with ultimate lines.

 

 

Winter Pickup 2011

 

DiscNW sponsored pickup returns in January!

 

Weekend games will take place at on Sunday afternoons (times to be posted
soon) from January 2 - February 27.  We will use a variety of synthetic
fields - details will be posted on the website soon.

 

Weeknight games will be on Wednesday evenings from 7:45-10:45pm on Magnuson
7 from January 5 - March 2.

 

 

All Girl Everything Ultimate Program

The All Girl Everything Ultimate Program (AGE-UP) is a unique new program
combining ultimate frisbee clinics with a series of leadership workshops
using the award-winning Women's Sports Foundation's GoGirlGo! curriculum
<http://www.womenssportsfoundation.org/GoGirlGo/Curriculum.aspx> , which
focuses on issues that many young women may face. 

 

*	Are you a young woman age 13-18?
*	Would you like to become and/or stay physically active?
*	Are you interested in learning and playing one of the
fastest-growing sports in the country?
*	Do you enjoy meeting and talking with other girls and women about
your experiences?
*	Would you like to practice and develop your leadership skills?

 

If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above, then AGE-UP might be
just right for you!

 

 

Operations Manager Application Period Closes Today

 

DiscNW is now accepting applications for the position of Operations Manager.
This is a new full-time position that will begin in January, 2011.  Today is
the last day to apply.

 

The DiscNW Operations Manager will report to the Executive Director and will
serve to facilitate success of all DiscNW programs.  The Operations Manager
will coordinate logistical details of DiscNW events and will work closely
with volunteers, staff, and participants.  This assignment requires at least
a two-year commitment at full-time employment with flexible hours and the
ability to work from home.  Some evenings and weekend work will be required.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for performing some duties on
site at DiscNW events.

Turkey Bowl Volunteer Needed

 

We are looking for a volunteer to help organize food donations for the big
lunch time feast.  If you have some time to help out, please contact the
