3. COACHES AND LEAGUE COORDINATORS NEEDED

There are several job opportunities currently available in the Seattle youth
Ultimate community:

- DiscNW needs Fall MoHo coaches on Sundays in October.  This is a stipend
position.  Contact wynne.scherf at discnw.org

- DiscNW needs League Coordinators and coaches for its new fall leagues.
These are stipend positions.  Contact wynne.scherf at discnw.org

- Kamiakin Junior High (Kirkland) needs a coach for its spring 9th grade
boys' team.  They would like to practice once a week on Wednesday afternoons
after school. School ends at 1:15pm on Wednesdays.  The coach is needed from
January 4 through June 20.

4. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FUND AUCTION

DiscNW is hosting the first annual Youth Development Fund dinner auction on
October 8.  The auction will raise money for the Youth Development Fund,
which supports several DiscNW youth initiatives, including subsidized
(reduced cost or free) youth Ultimate events and clinics targeted at
under-served communities, team scholarships to aid participation in area
tournaments and leagues, introduction of Ultimate to new youth groups, and
individual scholarships to the annual Youth Club Championships in
Minnesota.  We are in need of volunteers to help both with auction planning
and on the day of the auction.  Please contact Wynne Scherf if you are
interested in helping to support the Seattle youth Ultimate community (
wynne.scherf at discnw.org).

5. MOHO AND MINI MOHO

There are several *free* MoHo and Mini MoHo practices coming up this

6. USA ULTIMATE GRANTS

Each year, USA Ultimate gives away money and equipment to people with need
