Just one brief note to add to Betsy's news. . .

Seattle Proposition 1 - The Families and Education
Levy<http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/education/overview.htm>

The Families and Education Levy is up for a renewal in this fall's
election. The levy provides funding for City services aimed at helping
children to be safe, healthy, and ready to learn.

Among other programs, the levy supports the Fall Middle School Ultimate
League, which is run in partnership between Seattle Public Schools and
DiscNW. Over 40 teams are participating in the league this fall. Funding
from the levy helps to pay for field space, coaching stipends, and
administrative support. This league has been operating for over ten years
and was recently featured in the recent edition of the USA Ultimate
magazine. It is an established and successful youth ultimate program in
Seattle, and its future depends on the passage of the levy.

Please join us in supporting the renewal of the Families and Education Levy
this fall.
